On the recommendation of my Optometrist, my visit with Dr. Weinstock was my first-ever visit with an Ophthalmologist.
I found Dr. Weinstock to be extremely thorough after he identified a couple of watch-items concerning my eyes. Here’s what happened...
Dr. Brett examined me for the original concern for my visit, but he also took the time to speak with me and listen to those seemingly innocuous “things that bug me” about my eyes. Well, it turns out that those “things that bug me” were not to be ignored. Dr. Weinstock, through his listening and questioning, elicited a more detailed Family History, which I’d forgotten! Because Dr. Brett dug deeper, my watch-items may not have been identified! Thank you Dr. Brett!!
I’m a very happy new patient and have already scheduled my next annual visit!

I'm a first time (new) patient. From the beginning of my appointment to the end, every staff person that I was in contact with treated me wonderfully and professionally.
Dr. Weinstock was attentive, he listened to my answers to questions he had, gave me a thorough eye exam, and completely answered all of my questions! I never felt rushed, he gave me all the time I needed and then some. My appointment started on time. As they say, "first impressions are lasting impressions" This was truly a great experience for me, and I hope that this is their standard of care.

Dr. Weinstock is clearly highly trained and very bright, but also takes the time to fully explain the science behind any diagnosis, offers a full explain of treatment and care, explains what he is monitoring as I age, and clearly and completely responds to all my questions. He makes me fell as if I am his most important patient.

Intake nurse was super ( warm and professional). She got my visual acuity initial check, history, helped with a retina scan, and I think she put in the dilating drops.
Dr. Friedberg spoke with me, finalized my prescription, and carefully examine my retina. He learned that the Preservision he recommended was causing morning nausea and he advised
Doubling up on the after dinner dose.
John in optometric sales in lobby is the man as he repaired my old glasses when off warranty. This allowed me to wait for this appointment with Dr. H. Friedberg to give me my new Rx for glasses.
In his words, “you (meaning vision) seems to be asking for more!
Very helpful. Picked up glasses already and given new case, Cryzal cleaning cloth, and special spray.
